Holtang Ba Losar is a Losar celebrated by Nyeshyangte (people of Manang) all over the world. The word "Losar" translates to "New Year" in Tibetan, and the festival marks the beginning of the lunar new year. Manang Samaj organizes a huge celebratory Losar party every year, which begins with a traditional song and dance called "Ole", and follows up with multiple performances, amazing food, "Khapse' (Special cookie), drinks & dances. It holds deep cultural and sentimental significance, reflecting the rich heritage of the Manang community and their enduring traditions.
Every year during the Memorial Day Weekend, Manang Samaj USA hosts the Annual Mitha (Archery Festival). It is a 3 day festival with an Archery Tournament, Camping, Badminton Tournament, Yoga, Zumba, fun games for kids & adults, delicious food, snacks, music, and Dj night. It is one of the favorite ones of our members and their guests.
Annual July 4th Picnic is hosted in beautiful park of New York City, bringing together Samaj members for a day of potluck, delicious barbeque and fun games. Manang Samaj's commitment to fostering community bonds is evident as attendees shared in the joy of Independence Day, creating cherished memories in a spirit of togetherness and goodwill.

Our first-ever career and networking event was held on September 30, 2023, in Queens, NY. The event featured a distinguished panel of professionals with diverse backgrounds, including roles such as software engineer, tech risk officer, cloud engineer, registered nurse, and corporate accountant. Attendees had the invaluable opportunity to learn from these experts, gaining insights into their respective fields and broadening their perspectives.
